Talking Till Becomes a Real Possibility
This has the potential to change the game even more than before.
Previously you may have perhaps seen our visually impaired friendly tills that are used in all of our shops. These can be adapted so that a braille overlay can go over the top and a person with no sight at all can complete work experience and access the till. The braille overlay is see through so that those that can see around the person completing work experience can still see what's happening and look out for any errors. Not only that but the tills are colour coded into clear visible buttons so that people with low vision could know which button to push. Add to that the large print and the till we currently have is already pretty accessible but the till we may have in future aims to go one step further. It's going to be aimed to help those with difficulties reading, the elderly that may have low vision as well as those with visual impairments the next development is definitely a game changer. Watch this space for more details of what's yet to come.
Below you will see pictures of our current tills that we use in the shops.
